PDR Completes VND 7.666 Trillion Payment for Acquisition of 35% Stake in Lotte Properties HCMC
On August 10, 2026, Phat Dat Real Estate Development Corporation (PDR: HOSE) completed all payment obligations totaling VND 7.666 trillion, officially completing the transaction to acquire a 35% equity interest in Lotte Properties HCMC Co., Ltd., the developer of Lotte Eco Smart City Thu Thiem.
The completion of the VND 7.666 trillion payment marks an important milestone, establishing PDR as a 35% shareholder in Lotte Properties HCMC Co., Ltd. and officially joining the development of Lotte Eco Smart City Thu Thiem in Functional Area 2a of Thu Thiem New Urban Area, An Khanh Ward, HCMC.
Following the transaction, Lotte Properties HCMC Co., Ltd. has four members: Lotte Shopping Co., Ltd. with a 30.59% stake; Hotel Lotte Co., Ltd. with a 22.94% stake; Lotte Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. with an 11.47% stake; and Phat Dat Real Estate Development Corporation with a 35% stake.
Under the cooperation structure, PDR will jointly develop the residential components of Blocks 2-2, 2-4, and 2-6. Also, PDR will be responsible for developing the two commercial high-rise blocks, 2-1 and 2-3, the commercial and service podium and basement levels.
Lotte Eco Smart City Thu Thiem is a large-scale, mixed-use urban development located in the heart of Thu Thiem New Urban Area. The project brings together a diverse range of commercial, retail, office, hospitality, residential, and public spaces, contributing to the development of HCMC’s new urban center.
The completed transaction marks an important milestone in the partnership between PDR and Lotte Group, while also underscoring PDR’s ability to mobilize resources and fulfill its financial commitments for major projects in central HCMC.
