Generous Roof Eaves for Tropical Living

Deep, overhanging roof eaves are among the defining features of the house. They provide protection from Singapore’s frequent heavy rains while also supporting passive cooling throughout the home.

With this protection in place, windows and openings can remain operable throughout the year, encouraging natural cross-ventilation and reducing reliance on mechanical cooling systems.

A 25-Metre Lap Pool Connecting Architecture and Landscape

A key requirement of the design was a 25-metre lap pool to accommodate the family’s passion for swimming. Running parallel to the main axis of the house, the pool turns gently at the far end, wrapping around the dining area and dry kitchen.
